Michael Barz from IML presented the Late Breaking Results (LBR) paper “Detection of contract cheating in pen-and-paper exams through the analysis of handwriting style” by Konstantin Kuznetsov, Michael Barz, and Daniel Sonntag as a poster at ICMI 2023 in Paris. The conference took place at Sorbonne University. In their work, the authors propose the use of automatic handwriting analysis based on digital ballpoint pens to identify individuals during exams unobtrusively in order to detect contract cheating.
