At the DFKI.AI Day, we presented our eye-tracking technology for extended reality headsets, which allows us to record objects viewed by the user. We use modern computer vision algorithms to recognize relevant objects in a scene and compare their position with the user’s gaze in real time. We also presented our interactive machine learning tool, which allows users to easily adapt the underlying models to their needs and use cases. As part of our ongoing EU project MASTER, we want to use this technology to train workers in robotics. We received a lot of positive feedback from guests from industry and the media.
