Duy Nguyen presented a joint full paper with University of Oldenburg, Leibniz University Hanover, and MPI Saarbrücken on multi-camera multi-object tracking at the International Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR-2022) which took place in Louisiana, USA, as a hybrid conference, June 20-27, with both in-person and virtual attendance options. The IEEE / CVF Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference (CVPR) is the premier annual computer vision event with many students, academics and industry researchers.

CVPR 2022 took place not only in a city known for its distinct culture and history, but also during a date of historic significance. On Monday, June 20, 2022, the US celebrated Juneteenth, which was established as a US federal holiday in 2021. Juneteenth commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States, and also celebrates African-American culture.

CVPR 2022 has also initiated a number of efforts towards increasing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging at the conference. Please see the CVPR 2022 DEI page for more information on these efforts.
