On May 12, 2026, the 16th Career Day—the University of Oldenburg’s internship and job fair—brought together around 50 companies and organizations, offering students valuable insights into student assistant positions, internships, and career opportunities after graduation. The Interactive Machine Learning (IML) and Marine Perception (MAP) research departments participated in the event, engaging with numerous students and visitors throughout the day. The teams presented their current research activities, discussed opportunities for student involvement, and were delighted by the strong interest in their work and the many inspiring conversations.
