On May 14, 2025, László Kopácsi successfully defended his dissertation before the examination committee of the Doctoral School of Informatics at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE). His supervisors were Prof. Dr.-Ing. Daniel Sonntag and Dr. habil. András Lőrincz (ELTE). The chair of the examination committee was Dr. Sándor Fridli (ELTE). László received a notable score of 96% from the committee.
In his dissertation, he proposed and evaluated computer vision methods to address the challenges of building video analysis systems for behavior monitoring of laboratory rodents and of generating allocentric semantic 3D maps for human-robot interaction. The IML research department congratulates him on this achievement!
