On 17 June, the event “Lange Nacht der Digitalisierung” (Long Night of Digitalization), organized by OFFIS – Institute for Information Technology and BTC AG, took place in Oldenburg. Numerous companies and scientific institutions demonstrated their work at the location Alte Fleiwa. The research department IML explained the synergy between virtual reality and AI, and how virtual reality can connect humans and machines.
The event was opened by the Minister of Science of Lower Saxony, Björn Thümler, the president of Oldenburg University, Prof. Dr. Ralph Bruder, and the OFFIS chairman, Prof. Dr. Sebastian Lehnhoff.
